Jackson Memorial High School Band Director - (1979-present)
In 2013: NJMEA (New Jersey Music Educators Association) recognized Bud, with the Distinguished Music Teacher Award for 2013.
In 2013: NHSBDHF (National High School Band Director's Hall of Fame) recognized Bud, for his outstanding career, by accepting him into the National Band Director's Hall of Fame.
In 2013: Jackson Memorial Jaguar Band (200 plus students) participated in the Tournament of Roses Parade, Pasadena, California
In 2013: Jackson Memorial Jaguar Band (200 plus students) participated in the Presidential Inaugural Parade in Washington DC representing NJ. This was the 2nd time in the past 8 years, that Jackson Memorial represented the state.
Bud has been recognized in Who' Who Among Teachers 8 times
Bud has been recognized with proclamations from the past 6 Governors of the State of NJ.
The Jaguar Band was recognized in Washington DC in August, and had an American Flag flown over the Capitol Building in recognition of our excellence.
The Jaguar band has an outstanding reputation. Their website is: www.jacksonjaguarband.com. In 2013 performed for Giants/Redskins plus performances with Dolly Parton, Conan Obrien, Miss America, 4 Ticker Tape Parades and many more accolades.
