| Favorite School Memory | Winter/Spring1970 -The Senior Class of 1970 staged a protest/walk-out to protest the School Board proposal to build the new Booker T. down Tidewater Drive at what is now the site of Northside Park, essentially moving Booker T. out of the Black neighborhood and away from its Black roots. The school board closed Booker T. for a day or two.
