About Me	Moved back to Montana right high school where the rest of my family was living. Worked construction for a few years and then tried college at Montana State when I was about 20. Was headed for a general studies degree but eventually settled into psychology and english. Met a girl there, Kayla Matson, to whom I have been married since 1985. Our son was born in 1989 and our daughter in 1993. With Kayla and another partner started Catalyst Consulting in 1985 in Santa Cruz, CA. It is still operating. Co-founded American Prairie Reserve in Montana in 2001 and was CEO until 2018. Am now publishing a book with Torrey House Press in Salt Lake City. Book is called The Second Best Time is Now. Due out in 2025. Just launching a podcast called The Answers Are Out There. Have visited for work and adventure about 40 different countries on all continents except Antarctica. Have returned numerous times to some of them like Indonesia, Mexico and others and have thus far travelled out of the U.S more than 80 times. That experience has made me think a lot about the many different political systems, religions, economic systems and cultures that all work for people to one extent or another. The takeaway for me is that there is not one right way to go, but fairness, kindness, non-judgement and compassion and a common vision ( rare these days I think) are a good basis for ...(read more)
