| About Me | "Good friends, good books and a sleepy conscience: this is the ideal life." I pride myself in caring a little too much about…everything. I find pictures in stains on the floor which become my muses for an entire week, and I could giggle for DAYS at the way semis look when they’re not carrying trailers. I will secretly analyze you, figure out the story of your childhood, decide how to micro-manage your life, invent forty ways to help you fix anything wrong, and decide to let it all go in the name of inner peace or the benefit of your life journey (all within the first twenty seconds of meeting you). I’m awkward and glad of it. I’m a hopeless romantic and idealist. I assume everyone and everything is awesome even when given scads of evidence to the contrary. I roar, tarzan yodel, and sing in a froggy voice at home, which I hope is normal for everyone. I like my convos deep and get mad when others fail to comply. (Don’t worry—a good roar or yodel will bring me back to normal.) I approach everything as if I were a pro and then fall back on sarcasm or non-existent underlying messages when you find out I suck. I am extreme in all of my emotions. (Good thing I’m happy 98% of the time, eh?) I find symbols where there are none, my kind of religion. I was born old, and have recently given up trying to do age-appropriate things; I now read too much while drinking tea and complain about my aching bones. Television is too loud and bright for me. If I start singing one song, BE PREPARED: I will only sing one verse and then switch to another completely random part of another song (often only a word or two) before switching to a third, entirely unrelated song and repeating the process a dozen times. I recently discovered that world peace will be obtained eventually through France: a ...(read more) |
