About Me	I was born in Wisconsin and moved as a teenager to Las Vegas, NV. I completed my BA in Mathematics with most of a dual major in Philosophy as well as my MS in Mathematics at UNLV. After a teaching stint at UNLV, it became clear that I should complete a secondary teaching certification as well. I then became a teacher for Clark County School District, but ultimately ended up at a private pre-K through 12 school called The Meadows School where I taught levels of math ranging from basic mathematics through Calculus III. I also served as Math Department Chair and the Summer Program Coordinator. Overall, I lived and worked in Vegas for 21 years. I moved to Alaska 6.5 years ago.
