About	From the Mid Hudson Dispatch: "Norman A. Jones of Westtown died at home with his love Joan by his side on June 18, 2023. He was 71. The son of the late Norman & Jennie Jones, he was born on January 15, 1952, in Manhattan, NY. He is survived by his lifelong love and partner Joan C. Hutcher of Westtown.

While I only knew Norman for a short while in Bogota - as we moved, I cannot give Norm enough credit for learning, growing and educating those around him. A day or so before his family moved to town, members of the KKK burned a cross on the Jones' front lawn. The Jones were the first black family to own a home in Bogota (Larch Avenue). My clergyman dad told us at dinner that night that in his talks with the Bogota Police Chief, the KKK people were from out of town and the Police were absolutely taking steps. That said, what a horrific way to start life in your new home. I give Norm all blessings on his new trip to Heaven with all wonderful blessings for his wife Joan, as well.
