Joined during medical school as 2LT, promoted to Captain at medical school graduation. Promoted to Major mid-1980's, was on list for promotion to LtCol when I left Army in 1990. Served mainly at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, with one year at Ft. Bragg and 1 year as fellow in neuro-ophthalmology at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
