Tim parlayed a degree in Marketing from The University of Florida into an advertising position in New York City. Soon he was targeted by several national firms, including Nike and Sprint, to help them build their brand. Sprint won his services and there he began a twelve-year career in Kansas City.
During the DotCom boom of the late 1990's, Tim was lured away from Sprint to Newport Beach,, California to become President of Tickets.com. But Sprint wanted him back and offered him enough reasons to leave the sun and surf of Southern California for Kansas City. There he was an integral part of the merger between Sprint and Nextel as President of Sprint Consumer Solutions, President Sprint Business, President Sprint Mass Markets and President Customer Management. Tim eventually was promoted to Chief Marketing Officer with responsibility for Sprint Marketing and Product initiatives.
