We are sad to announce that on February 2, 2024, at the age of 73, Marilyn Fong Joe (Memphis, Tennessee) passed away.
She was predeceased by : her parent Ida Wy Fong. She is survived by : her husband Shun Y Joe, Jr.; her children, Jason Christopher Joe of Carson City, NV and Melissa Joe Thurmer of Arlington, TN.; her son-in-law Justin Lee Thurmer; and her grandsons, Brayden Christopher Thurmer and Liam Joe Thurmer.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 8th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens (3700 N Germantown Pkwy, Bartlett, TN 38133). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bellevue Baptist Church (2000 Appling Rd, Cordova, TN 38016). A committal service was held on Friday, February 9th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens (3700 N Germantown Pkwy, Bartlett, TN 38133).
