About Me	I moved to Sarasota, FL where I completed 3 years at the Ringling College of Art & Design only to be disappointed that the career path I had chosen was no longer available. Meanwhile I met my husband (of more than 6 years) and took some time to realize what I wanted. I worked for my father-in-law installing electronics. My husband also did that type of work, but on a much larger scale. He's worked in the homes of people like Steven King, John Travolta, and Joe Perry. Later I realized my passion was working with hair. Since I enrolled in school, I've entered 3 contests. The first one I placed 8th out of 30 places. The second one ("the olympics of cosmetology") was virtually impossible to win, but was an incredible experience! The third one ("the american idol of cosmetology") I place in the top 11 in the nation. That's when I knew I had found my nitch. To me, hair is just another form of art.
