About Me	Following high school, I spent 3 years with Army Combat Engineers. Army discharge in Alaska. Returned to Blair and worked for Washington County as a grader operator. Returned to Alaska a couple years later. Married Pamela from Seattle that had moved to Alaska in 1963. Pam managed and operated our B&B in Talkeetna Alaska at the base of Mt. Denali as I started my 2 week on, 2 week off schedule on the North slope, about 800 miles North of Anchorage. I started work with ARCO at Prudhoe Bay Alaska 1981, transitioned to British Petroleum (BP) 1986. Certified with Rolls Royce Ansty England, Aberdeen Scotland and Montreal Canada for completion of RB 211 jet turbine engine maintenance and overhaul. Retired in 2015 after 34 years with BP. We have 3 children, two boys, 1 girl, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. Sold our B&B 2002. Owned 4 different homes in Yuma AZ and commuted every 2 weeks for the last 5 years of employment with BP. Retired in 2015 and now reside ...(read more)
