James Dalzell '70 said:

James M. Ragusa, age 72, of Glenn Dale, Maryland, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, April 28, 2024.
James was born on January 14, 1952 in Cheverly, MD and was a 1970 graduate of Bladensburg High School. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Rita Ragusa, and his brother John Ragusa.

James was a proud telephone man of over 40 years. A true renaissance man by all accounts, he was quick to share his wisdom, life experiences or a funny antidote. He was an avid reader and loved spending time with his grandkids. He will be remembered for his warm sense of humor and his dedication to his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Vickie L. Ragusa, his daughter Lisa (John) Linkins, son James (Sarah) Ragusa; as well as his brother Pete (Laura) Ragusa, sister-in-law Cheryl Ragusa, two grandchildren, Nicholas and Mia Ragusa and three grand dogs.

Family and friends may visit on Monday, May 6th, 2024 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Road, Bowie, MD, 20715.

His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 7th at 11:00am at Our Lady Of Grace Catholic Church, 15663 Norbeck Blvd, Silver Spring, MD, 20906.

Interment is to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, MD.
