Robert Martinez Obituary
Mr. Robert Louis Martinez, 59, of Walkersville, died Tuesday March 27, 2012 at the Kline Hospice House in Mt. Airy. He was the husband of Carol Willard Martinez.

Born in Las Cruses, NM on April 15, 1952 he was a son of the late Don Luis and Pauline Purvines Martinez.

Mr. Martinez received his AA degree in mathmatics and computer science from Frederick Community College. Mr. Martinez retired as a Tech Sgt. with the US Air Force after serving 20 years defending his country. He was employed at the Game Parlor in Chantilly, VA after his service retirement. He was a member of FSK American Legion Post 11 Frederick and the American Mensa.

Surviving, besides his wife, are: 3 brothers: Don - East Hampton, CT, Michael - Washington; Patrick - Chantilly, VA and 1 sister Ann Bradley - Ellicott City.

The family will receive friends on Friday March 30 from 7 to 9 PM at the Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, 31 E. Main St., Middletown. Funeral services will be held11 AM on Saturday March 31 from Zion Lutheran Church , 107 W. Main St., Middletown. Rev. Chris Frigm will officiate. There will be a viewing at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will be made in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Middletown.
