Obituary for Randall Shanholtzer
Randall William “Randy” Shanholtzer, 58, of Bladensburg, MD died
December 8, 2010 at Montgomery Hospice Casey House in
Rockville, MD.

Randy graduated from Bladensburg High School then entered the
military. He was a Sargeant in the United States Air Force serving
at Peterson Field in Colorado Springs, Colorado. After military
service, he returned to Maryland and worked as an insurance
agent for Armorplate Insurance, Metro Insurance Agency, and
Metro-Corrigan Nationwide Insurance. He was an avid fan of all
sports, especially baseball and enjoyed music, particularly Rock
and Roll.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Clotilde
Shanholtzer and his sister, Donna Borum. He is survived by his
brother, Robert Shanholtzer and sister-in-law, Mary Shanholtzer,
brother-in-law, Bernie Borum; nieces, Jennifer Shanholtzer, Katie
Howells, and Shannon Borum; nephews, Bernie Borum, Bobby
Shanholtzer, and Tony Borum; great nieces, Nicole Faudree and
Emma Shanholtzer; great nephews, Jordan Howells, Carter
Faudree and Andrew Shanholtzer; and God-daughter, Shatia
Owsley.

Visitation will be on Thursday, December 16, 2010 from 5-8PM
with a Prayer Service at 7PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635
Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Graveside Service will be
Friday, December 17, 2010 at 11AM at Maryland Veterans’
Cemetery in Cheltenham, MD.
