George Seymour McCoy, age 24, of Hansford County, Texas, died October 24, 1979, as a result of acute cardiac failure. He had been under a physician's care prior to his death at St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo, Texas. George was born January 15, 1955 at Tyndall AFB, Florida to Beverly Wayne and Ruth Ann Edge McCoy. George was a pen rider for Frontier Feed Lot in rural Texas. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Betsy Duncan McCoy, and daughter, Callie Dee McCoy (1979 - 2003). His remains were returned to Montgomery County, Virginia, and buried in the McCoy Family Cemetery in McCoy, Virginia.
