Michael Avery Gallimore, 62, of Christiansburg, Va., was born January 4, 1956 and passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018. He attended Prices Fork United Methodist Church and played trumpet at Blacksburg High School. He was an avid Virginia Tech Hokie and Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed playing table tennis at Squires at Virginia Tech. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Edsel & June Gallimore. He is survived by his brother, Kevin Gallimore; sisters, Deborah Gallimore and Patricia Gallimore; special uncle, Ray Gallimore "Cappy" and wife, Marivic; special friend, Jeff Washenberger; many aunts, uncles cousins, friends and four legged companions. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2018 at Horne Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Humane Society.
