About	Paul E. Smith, 42, of Ashland died Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, following a lengthy illness. Born April 21, 1967, to Jacky and Phyllis (nÃ©e Kirk) Smith, Paul was a lifelong resident of the Sullivan and Ashland area. He was a 1986 graduate of Black River High School and went on to serve his country during Desert Storm. Paul worked as a sales representative for Advanced Auto Parts, and, in his free time, enjoyed playing video games with his son. Paul is survived by his son, Zachary May; fiancÃ©e, Carrie May; and his father, Jacky Smith, all of Ashland; a brother, Kenneth Smith of California; and a sister, Mary (Jeff) Shelton of Wellington. Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis. Friends and family will be received 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009, at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington.
