About Brian Keith Wilson, Jr., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at home under hospice care. For two years, Brian was a warrior giving all he could to fight his cancer.

On October 9, 1980, Brian was born in Newburgh Heights. He was a 1999 graduate of Black River High School and earned his Diesel Mechanic Certification from Medina County Career Center.

Brian loved his job and had ten years of service with the Ohio State Highway Patrol, most recently serving as a Motor Carrier Enforcement Inspector Supervisor. He took great pride in his job and was an extremely hard worker.

He loved anything on 2 or 4 wheels, and could often be found on his motorcycle or 4-wheeler. Brian also enjoyed shooting.

His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his wife, kids. Sitting around a campfire, sharing memories, and discussing politics always delighted Brian. Always compassionate, he listened to people and made them felt heard. He loved life and was such a happy man. His humble, kind nature will be missed by all who knew him.

Brian is survived by his loving wife and best friend of almost 16 years, Jamie; children, Kelly (Will) Warner, Payton Wilson, and Ean Wilson, all of Sullivan; his mother, Cindy (Dennis) Tapocsi-Sudina; father, Brian (Nitza) Wilson, Sr. and brother, Brad Wilson. His large extended family also includes many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins who were special to him. He will also be missed by his close friends and his work family at the Ohio State Patrol. Brian was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Patricia Tapocsi and Clarence and Crystal Wilson; an aunt, Sherry Collins, and a cousin Timmy Collins.
Events Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28 from 12 – 3 pm and from 5 -8 pm at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington. A private family service will be held.
