About | Dean W. Rollin, 53, of Huntington, died Thursday, April 29, 2010 at his home in Huntington. He was born April 22, 1957 in Oberlin to John 'Jack' and Sarah (nee Angersbach) Rollin. He graduated from Black River High School in 1975 and farmed many acres in Huntington with his father and then his son. He was the father of 4 children, Melissa Rollin, Melanie O'Neal, Dean D. Rollin and Jamie Wiles. He worked hard and played hard and was very proud of his family. He enjoyed pulling tractors at the Lorain and Medina County Fairs, which he did for 37 consecutive years. He was an avid sports fan and dedicated member of the Black River Fullbackers. Dean also was a member of many farm organizations and the Medina County Tractor Pullers Association. Dean loved seeing his grandkids, taking them doughnuts and doing what he could for his family and many, many friends. He is survived by his mother, 4 children, 7 grandchildren, and siblings including twin brother, Don Rollin, Sr., sister, Brenda Clemets and brother, John Rollin, Jr. Dean is also survived by his special companion of 10 years, Tari Diedrick and was preceded in death by his father. He will be missed everyday and never forgotten. |
Events | Visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, May 2 at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington. Funeral services will be held on Monday at the United Church of Huntington, 26677 State Route 58, at 11 a.m. followed by a private graveside service at Huntington Cemetery with Elder Howard Quast officiating.
