About | It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Stacey Monique Herring of Boca Raton, FL. Stacey is survived by her loving husband, Brian, and two devoted daughters, Molly and Ellie, as well as siblings, Shawn Carter of North Olmsted, OH; Shane Carter of Sullivan, OH; Kerry McMahon (Tom) of Nova, OH; Megan Carter of Hookerton, NC; Morgan Carter of Plain City, OH and Casey Carter of Olympia, WA. Stacey was preceded in death by her parents William (Bill) and Margaret (Peg) Carter and her brother, Kelly, of Sullivan, OH. Stacey worked for many years as Family & Children’s Ministry Program Manager in the city of Boca Raton. Her impact in the faith foundation will last in the community for years to come. She was very skilled at event planning and creating happy memories. Her warm and caring nature permeated all that she did. She was a determined and passionate woman that gave her full effort and energy to accomplishing her goals. She achieved her lifelong dream of becoming a published author when her book, The Fields of Gomorrah, came out in 2023. She was wonderfully creative and loved making scrapbooks, journals, cards and home decor. She was also a great cook and loved trying new recipes and cuisines. Stacey focused much of her time on family and friends, which were the most important part of her life, along with her strong faith and love for Jesus. She had a unique talent for taking diverse groups and building bridges to create friendships and a sense of community. She was so much to so many people and will be terribly missed. |
Events | A memorial service for Stacey will be held at Spanish River Church East Campus, 2350 Yamato Road, Boca Raton 33431, on Saturday, September 21 at 11:00 AM. |
