As of 2010, serving as a Master Sergeant in Savannah, GA. Previously deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan and Kuwait. Former Recruiter and Drill Sergeant.

Enlisted BRF National Guard Oct 54. Enlisted regular Army Feb 58. Served as Construction Equipment operator until Oct 54. With service in Korea (2 tours) Ft Belvoir, VA, Ft Leonard Wood, MO.Went to Helicopter pilot training in 1964. Served 1 tour in Viet Nam as a helicopter gun ship pilot. Finished his Warrant Officer service as a flight instructor at Ft Wolters. Joined the Texas national Guary and then transfered to the Mississippi National Guard. Returned to the Wisconsin National Guard and worked as the unit administrator at the Black River Falls Armory until 1985 when he went on Active Duty as a Warrant Officer and worked for the 32d Brigade as a Logistics Warrant until he retired as a CW4 in 1994. Had 4 short tours in Germany while with the Wisconsin National Guard.
