A former classmate of ours, who was a member of The Niagara Regional Police from 1977-2014 when he retired. He came out of retirement in 2017 and became a member of The Hanover Police Services for 2 years. He was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer on October 10, 2019. He fought valiantly until he succumbed to the disease on July 22, 2020. He will be sadly missed by his family and his vast amount f friends. R.I.P. Steve Canton
