About Me	I am finding the joy of retirement for the first time in my life, and setting out on many new adventures as I begin this new phase that so far, has been as busy as my former life. But I am finding bits of time, now, to stop and smell the roses. I have been in education for the last 31 years. Recently, I was a principal of a large elementary school of 1140 students, and had 1/2 assistant to help. I did that for 6 years. I retired in July and have been teaching Gifted and Talented students 17 hours a week in a pull-out program. I am trying to get a writing career started. I also spend a lot of time working with NAMI Utah and helping families with members who have a mental illness, and helping to educate people about mental illness.
