Branch Detailed - Armor Platoon Leader my first two years in Germany then transitioned to the Signal Corps for the remainder of my military career - Battalion Signal Officer, Assistant S-3 in the 29th Signal Battalion, Communications Plans Officer for the G6 I Corps at Fort Lewis.

Marine Corps, 4 Years
He is a radio opperator in an infatry unit in the Marine Corps. Stationed in Twentynine Palms CA on Marine Corps Air Gound Combat Center, one of the biggest bases in the Marine Corps. Has deployed to Iraq in 2007 for seven months. Is now getting ready to deploy to Afganistan in April of 2008. Is in the first Marine unit to deploy to Afganistan since 2001.

Joined in my junior year 1997 in the 279th Eng Det out of Missoula MT. Served for 8 years and then had a 6 year break. Came back in with the National guard and then went officer. Have been serving in a reserve unit out of Helena. So far two over seas deployments to Uzbekistan and Afganistan and two state side deployments both to Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio.

I served with the Mt Army National then went to Fort Hood TX for four years. I got out for nine years and always felt like I had not completed what I signed up for so I joined the KS Army National Guard and in 04 I went to Iraq for one year and again in 06. I was medevac'd out to Germany then to Ft Gordon GA. I tore up my left knee in a non combat injury and was medically retired.
