Was a member of the AMU, 8th infantry division, Germany, (Advanced Marksmanship Unit) competing against other units as well as units from the German Army. Earned the Bronze, Silver, and Gold German marksmanship medals while spending most of tour in Mannheim, Germany. Achieved the rank of Acting Sergeant E-5, official rank Specialist 4th Class.
