Joined Navy in 1962. Retired from the Navy in 1991. Served on various ships, to include USS Bexar APA-237, USS Vernon County, Wexford County, Carrier Group Seven staff, Saigon RVN, USS Dixie and USS Dixon. Also Port Director of Water Terminal Activity on Taiwan. Command Master Chief of USS Sides FFG-14 and PMOPAC Bremerton WA, Instructor at Storekeeper School in Meridian Mississippi from 1974-1978.
