What is Chance Comanche known for?

Chance Comanche, born on April 14, 1996 in Los Angeles, California, is an American professional basketball player. He made his mark in high school basketball playing for Beverly Hills High School in Beverly Hills, California, where he averaged impressive stats of 20.1 points, 16.0 rebounds, and 4.0 blocks per game as a senior. This led his team to a Southern Section 3A title. These results earned him a place at the University of Arizona where he played for two years from 2015 to 2017.

After declaring for the NBA draft in 2017, he wasn't selected by any team but remained undeterred. He joined the Drew League, a pro-am league, and started his professional career with the Memphis Hustle of the NBA G League in November 2017. In his debut season, he recorded averages of 9.2 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.

In 2019, Comanche was acquired by the Canton Charge, further substantiating his growing reputation. He continued to excel, signing with the Enid Outlaws of The Basketball League in 2021. During his time with the Outlaws, he achieved remarkable statistics, averaging 27.4 points, 12.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.3 blocks per game. His career then took him overseas to Turkey, where he played for Yeni Mamak Spor of the Turkish Basketball First League. Once again, he left a mark by being named league player of the week after recording 24 points and 16 rebounds in a victory match against Bornova Belediyespor.

In 2022, he returned to the States, where he was named to the opening night roster for the Stockton Kings. He made his NBA debut on April 9, 2023, signing with the Portland Trail Blazers. However, he returned to the Stockton Kings shortly after.
