| About Me | Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart." Psalm 37:4 I have been living near Cape Cod since I first got married in 1982. Two weeks before the birth of my first child, I left the workforce. That began 22 years of being an at-home mom to 5 really great kids (well, most of the time). I spent my free time doing volunteer work at the schools and at church, doing landscape and vegetable gardening, and teaching myself how to create websites and how to do minor computer repairs. I tried going back to work a few times…painting for a construction company, part-time work for a printing company, etc. ...only to find myself pregnant again each time In January of 2005 I went back to work pretty much “full time”. I became my physician's administrative assistant, and I am still working for him now. I love it. Great boss, great co-workers, great hours, etc... After nearly 7 years of dating and18 years of marriage, my husband left me to find his "soulmate". For several years after that, I kept hoping and praying that he would discover that his soulmate was really me. Well, God had other plans. He sent the most wonderful man into my life...and I found MY soulmate! In April of 2007, I married that wonderful man. Life is great! Of course there are crazy ups and downs constantly with our blended 7 children; but what a joy it is to have a husband who is totally in-sync with my thoughts, feelings and dreams! The kids are slowly adjusting to having step-parents, and life seems to be evening out a bit. God is so good...as usual!
