Joseph D. Miller, 45, husband of Lorna (Collatos) Miller, died Friday, December 16, 2011 at home. Born in Beverly, he is son of Joseph D. and Rosina (Galui) Miller of Beverly.
Joseph grew up in Beverly and is a graduate of Beverly High School. During his years at high school he played football and was the team captain. Joseph attended Northeastern University and Salem State College. He was employed by Phoenix Media in Beverly as a Publishing Director. Joseph loved all sports. He was very active in coaching his childrens football, basketball and baseball teams. He also enjoyed traveling and fishing.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by two sons: Joseph Coty Miller of Beverly and Christian Joseph Miller of Beverly.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Mary Star of the Sea Church, 253 Cabot Street, Beverly on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the Campbell-Lee, Moody Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly (North Beverly Location) on Tuesday from 4 to 7 P.M.
