Dana R. Fredriksen, 70, passed away on May 3, 2015, in Twin Oaks Nursing Home. He was the loving husband of Maureen (Bryant) Fredriksen with whom he shared 43 years of marriage.
Born in Beverly on Oct. 12, 1944, he was the son of the late Stanley and Elsa (Chase) Fredriksen. Dana was raised and educated in Beverly and graduated from Beverly High School in 1964. He served our country as Sergeant with the National Guard during the Vietnam War. Dana had been employed in the shipping and receiving department for the United Shoe Machinery Corp. in Beverly and more recently Addison Gilbert and Beverly Hospital. Dana enjoyed gardening.
Besides his wife, Maureen, he is survived by his son, Bradley Fredriksen of Danvers; his brother, Stanley Fredriksen of Mirror Lake, N.H.; and three nieces and their families, Gail Walleston of Weare, N.H., Paula Bechard of Wolfeboro, N.H., and Wendy Fredriksen of Wenham.
