Albert Edward Lawrence, 77, of Conway South Carolina, formerly of Manchester,
Connecticut, passed away peacefully in the presence of many loved ones on Monday
February 19th, 2024 in the year of Our Lord.
Born in Salem, Massachusetts on December 15th, 1946, Albert was the first of seven
children of the late Bernard and Rosetta (Spears) Lawrence.As a young boy growing
up in Beverly, Massachusetts, Albert discovered that he not only had an angelic
singing voice, but a passion for music which eventually led to him forming and
fronting the very successful rock group Teddy and The Pandas during the mid to late
1960s.
Albert is survived by his wife of 53 years, Claudia (Stetson) Lawrence; his son Todd,
wife Amber and two beautiful grandchildren Henry and Arthur; and his son Michael.
