Born and raised in Beverly, he is the son of the late Nathaniel Jr., and Gertrude (Haas) Hardenbrook.
Bob was a graduate of Beverly High School and then attended Salem State College. He served his country both in the United States Air Force and United States Army during the Vietnam War. Following his service, Bob was a postal worker in the City of Beverly for 26 years until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, camping and being outdoors, but most of all, Bob loved his family.
