Class of 1977
Well, we survived Hurricane Ian, in case anyone was wondering! Our home survived with very minimal damage, mostly trees and a few pieces of soffit. It was only through the grace of God! A close friend prayed over our home due
to us being (on vacation) out of town with no storm shutters and only construction grade windows. We have had some of our extended family members residing with us since after the storm due to their home being flooded with 47" of water, a total loss of all of their furniture, kitchen cabinets, appliances etc, etc, etc. We are greatful they are still here as we have the room to house them until they are able to rebuild. God has certainly blessed us! Relationships with them have become close and stable. We are happy to provide. They also lost 8 vehicles. They had one left which at the time of the storm it was in the paint shop and we were able to supply a second one for them to use for work also. Others in our family had more damage than us but are able to still reside in their homes while repairs are made. Some health issues are being worked on with my husband Bob, we are tending to these things with his doctors, continued prayers have brought us this far and we are faithful that God is in control of his situation and will most likely have surgery soon to alleviate his condition with diet and therapy needed during his recovery. Please continue your prayers for Bob as he fights through his trials. Blessings to all!
