Robert Lee Biggs (Higbee) (9/11/62 - 6/12/79) drowned in Spanaway Lake last day of 10th grade when the canoe that he and a few others rented had overturned. When they swam to shore and didn't see Robby, the boys assumed he was either joking around or was already was on his way home. At the time the boys weren't concerned because Robby liked to play practical jokes and was known to be an excellent swimmer. He is laid to rest at Fir Lane's Garden of Inspiration in Spanaway, WA.
