About Me	Been a sportswriter for many newspapers and numerous magazines. Have had a byline in every decade since the 1950s. The first was a poem about major league pitcher Sal Maglie which was published in the Bethany Tribune circa 1958. So that's a stretch but I'll claim it anyway. Ha! Have been inducted into two well-known Hall of Fames, the Oklahoma Coaches Association and the National High Scholl Coaches Association (the first sportswriter to ever receive that honor).
