About Me	Spent three years in the US Army stationed at Ft. Riley, KS (1987-1990); met my wife of 16 years on a blind date in May 1989 (she is a Kansas girl) and we were married in Jan. 1991; worked several years in Manhattan, KS at a nursing home before enrolling at Kansas State University in Jan. 1994 and graduating in May of 1998 (yes I took the scenic route to college); have been working as a certified athletic trainer (ATC) ever since;beginning my 5th school year as the ATC for Augusta High School in Augusta, KS working through Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado, KS; my twin sons were born in June 2006 (yes we waited over 15 years before having kids)(we must have waited long enough to qualify fo th "2 for 1" special); Otherwise, just enjoying life in Kansas (no it isn't as bad as it sound...(read more)
