Don Lansdale
Class of 1971
I was one of the last draft numbers in 1971 to be pulled. I did not want to go to war but I could spend 2 years in the Army, or 4 years in the Air Force. A 1968 a BSHS friend was killed in combat in Viet Nam. His name was John Wetzel and I knew his family...dated his sister Kathy... I lost several friends in the Viet Nam Conflict. I survived and I was awarded a Purple Heart in 1972 for service.
After serving 4 years in the Air Force, I was discharged and spent the next twenty years as a radio broadcaster in Lansing, Michigan. I worked for WITL, WILS, and WJIM radio. My radio name was Don Johnson. In my twenty years, I reported news, worked as a late-night DJ, and covered MSU football & basketball.
In 1999, I was elected to the Michigan Broadcasters Hall of Fame.
In 2001 I moved to southern California where I became a producer in the adult film industry. After several years of success, I returned to The Lansing area where I currently reside.
In 2012 I started a photo booth business with my beautiful wife Janet. Please take a moment to check out our business at www.photostarproductions.com

HEY KROG!!!!!
