Navy, 4 Years
I ENLISTED IN THE NAVY WITH MY BUDDY DANA ARMY AFTER GRADUATION. AFTER BOOT CAMP, I SHIPPED UOT TO VIETNAM ABOARD USS ENTERPRISE AS A FLIGHT DECK TROUBLESHOOTER WITH FIGHTER SQUADRON 143 (THE WORLD FAMOUS PUKIN' DOGS. AFTER A 9 MONTH CRUISE RETURNED TO THE STATES FOR SEVVERAL MONTHS BEFORE DEPLOYING BACK TO VIETNAM AGAIN. WAS STILL THERE WHEN AMERICAN INVOLVEMENT ENDED IN JAN. OF 1973.RETURNED TO THE STATES IN JUNE OF THAT YEAR, THEN DEPLOYED TO THE MEDITERRANEAN SEA UNTIL GOT OUT. SAW SOME GREAT PLACES, MADE SOME GREAT FRIENDS, AND ALSO LOST A FEW

Army, 20+ Years
I spent my first 3 years of military service between 1972-1975. I did my basic and ait at Fort Polk, La. I was stationed at Stuttgart Germamy for the rest of my military career. In 1982 I re-entered the Army and took basic and ait as a Field Artillerymen at Fort Sill, Ok. After that i spent most of my career in Germany some time at Fort Polk and Korea. I retired from the army as a SFC (E-7)in June of 1999. I stayed in OKlahoma where my wife and I live. I am still working for the military at Fort Sill, Ok.
