About Me	On fire for my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ... and no sign of cooling down. Here for Pastor Leo, my friends at Mission Valley Christian Fellowship & all my friends here and abroad. I pray God's blessings on all of you today and everyday. Born in Massacusetts, raised in Ohio, grew up in California, fell apart in Colorado, ran as fast as I could from Alabama, couldn't take the abuse in Nebraska, now back in California, learning to live again.... but my heart lives with Christ... always has. In my childhood... I was abused. In my adolescence... I was abused. In my adulthood... I was abused... sexually, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually... by sibling, parent, friend, stranger, boyfriend and husband and now?... ..now I am now in my mid 40's and I, FINALLY, live abuse free and my spirit is free... thanks to God's love, grace and infinite mercy. My testimony is my life and the fact that I, not only survived it but, triumphed. For all those in an abusive relationship that need to talk or even just a prayer. I am here. Be as safe as you can be, find someone you trust and tell them what is going on. If you don't know anyone you can trust, tell a doctor or pastor and there is ALWAYS the abuse hotline (found in or near the front pages of your phone book. KNOW there is ALWAYS something better and NO!!!!, YOU DON'T "DESERVE IT, ENJOY IT OR ASK FOR IT". Try your best to remember, IT'S A MINDGAME... DON'T LOSE IT. And, lastly, if you have the means... buy or borrow the book "Why Does He Do That" by Lundy Bancroft... it and a little faith was the key to my escape... because I had NO ONE. If I did, I didn't know it or even think I was worth it. If nothing else... remember, I am here, I am alive and I am safe. I am also here to listen if you need someone to talk to.
