Favorite School Memory	Playing on the Varsity Basketball Team for "Pop" Springer and beating Lafayette in the Regional tourney for 3rd place while scoring 18 points..
About Me	I joined the US Air Force and was trained in Munitions and Special Weapons and survived a year in the Korean War. I came back to St. Joseph and went to Junior College and was on the Basketball traveling squad. I earned an A.S., B.S., M. Ed and had 40 hours of work on a Doctor's Degree before moving to Texas. I Coached Boys and Girls Basketball, Softball and Baseball and assisted in Football for 9 years as I taught most Social Science Classes before becoming a School Administrator. I was an Assistant Principal for 13 years and a Principal for a total of 17 years before retiring. I was once Principal of my Alma Mater before returning to Texas from where I came, and where my Daughters and their families had made their home and are doing well. We are all within 20 miles from each other in the Houston area. My wife, a graduate of the Benton class of 1959 was a successful Bank Executive Secretary for over 30 years and retired 3 years after I did. We have travelled extensively since then more than the usual vacations we took yearly. We are all in excellent health and my wife and I do warm-up exercises and walk over 2 miles daily to "keep all the moving parts moving" as Dick Van Dyke once said..
