About	Daniel Meyer, 60, of Kansas City, formerly of St. Joseph, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013 at a North Kansas City health care facility. Dan was born February 17, 1953 in St. Louis, Mo. He was a bass player for various local and Kansas City bands, ranging from Country to Classic Rock to R&B. Dan began sharing his musical talent with the high school band at Benton High School, where he graduated in 1971. Dan married Jackie Kotel on October 20, 2007 in St. Joseph.
