About Me	In the 1980's I was involved in building the Hubble Space Telescope. I have been working at the College of Optical Sciences, University of Arizona most of the time for the past 24 years as lab supervisor, technician, engineer and teacher. I am very involved in optics outreach activities with kids, and run two major kaleidoscope workshops every year, where kids build 1000+ kaleidoscopes. I teach an optics outreach course for undergraduate and graduate students. In the course students develop and give presentations in optical engineering at local high schools to encourage students to pursue careers in this field.
