About Me	I graduated Rock Valley with an Associates Degree in 1991 and MacMurray College with a Bachelor's Degree in 1995. I became a Teacher of the Deaf /Hard of Hearing. I briefly worked in Belvidere Dist. 100 as a Hearing Impaired Itinerant teacher, but went on to work for 12 years at Wisconsin School for the Deaf in Delavan, which is a state residential school. I married Mark Matus from Chicago in 1998 and we have two children. Ariel was born in 2001 and James (Jimmy) was born in 2003. Both of my children are in the Autistic Spectrum (Ariel - PDD, NOS; Jimmy - classic Autism). Jimmy also has multiple disabilities including hand deformities and dwarfism.
