| About Me | Update as of March 2015 * Retired from contractual career, now traveling, researching, and writing full time. * Served in the U.S.A.F. as a Command Post Controller. Numerous Commendations for excellence while serving at Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards, CA, and N.O.R.A.D., and Space Command in Colorado Springs, CO. After the military I transitioned to full time civilian employment as a Satellite Controller, Site Systems Analyst and Telecommunications Technician on several joint DOD contracts for GTE Corporation, Contel Corporation, and Litton Corporation. * Served as a PTO president during elementary and middle school years of my youngest daughter and concurrently volunteered at Yogie and Friends, large cat sanctuary in Louisiana. Assisted Bossier, LA community during Hurricane Katrina processing storm's refugees and aided families resettling within the community and schools. * During husband's overseas deployments in numerous war zones, between 1992-2010, I concentrated my efforts on raising our kids and running a home-based digital graphics restoration & publishing business specializing in yearbooks, newsletters, and genealogical research. Resided in Iceland, California, Colorado and Louisiana for extended periods. * Award Winning Screenwriter 2011, 2012 in California, Mexico, and Canada for human trafficking script. Currently in script development for a historical-political-drama tv series. * Resides part time in Kuwait, Ireland, Malta and Colorado. Usually travels 3 times a year to the west coast. Husband of 22 years, finally retired from active duty, is now employed in Kuwait as DOD Telecommunications Professional. * Oldest daughter served in U.S. Navy, Middle East Carrier duty during war-time, as an Ordinance Tech (building, loading and managing air launch missiles, bombs), then sailed around the world. Civilian work includes EMT/Nursing, and pharmaceutical tech. She now resides and works in Colorado. * Youngest daughter, Caitlin, attends National University of Ireland in Galway for Mechanical Engineering, will be teaching English-as-a-foreign-language in Malta during summers, as well as current NUIG PR agent for incoming international students, Team Captain and Fighter for NUIG's Mixed Martial Arts team, NUIG girls Soccer team member, all while working part-time as an independent model/actress and former T.O.T...(read more) |
