ROTC Ohio State University. After infantry and combat intelligence basic training served 1971-1973 as Assistant Foreign Intelligence Officer for Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland. Also served as a legal assistance officer, JAG Corps, APG. Honorably discharged as Captain.
