will only impact upon our time and resources and without knowing, continue to intrude.
The plans for our 50th reunion are going well also! Here are some details:
Friday, June 7, 2019 (exactly 50 years from our graduation)
It is confirmed that 1969 participating class members will escort the Class of 2019 into their graduation
exercises at the high school. As of right now, the exercises will start at 6pm and will be outdoors, weather permitting.
After the graduation exercises we will be having a class gathering at Coachmen’s Lodge in Bellingham.
8pm start time. Appetizers will be offered and there will be a cash bar. The get together will be
held outside by the lake. There is a room held for us in case of inclement weather. If you haven’t
been to Coachmen’s in a while, check out their website!
We are tentatively planning to have transportation available from the hotel to Coachmen’s to
pick up other classmates and then on to the graduation exercises and after, back to Coachmen’s.
Later in the evening, planning on having transportation back to the hotel. This is all dependent
upon how many classmates will be staying at the hotel and participating in graduation exercises.

The rate is $139.00 per night regardless if someone books both or just the one night.
Your guests can call the hotel direct at 508-339-2200 and book rooms, your block code is "BHS" or they can simply reference the “Bellingham H.S. '69 Reunion” Group.

Since there are multiple nights in our block the link will bring guests to a booking for all of those nights, if guests only want to stay the night of the event they can simply follow the link and then click “Change Search” in the top right, then they can enter their specific check in and out dates and modify the booking manually.
So as noted, you can stay Friday and Saturday or just Saturday. There is a block of rooms set aside
for both nights.
The hotel provides for breakfast and dinner on site. The only time you will need to go out is for
lunch (or have it delivered to the hotel). There is a list of restaurants in the area that will be provided
at a later date.

In addition to the above noted activities, keep in mind that 2019 is the 300th Anniversary of the Town of
Bellingham and there may be activities planned during the weekend of our reunion. The town has set

It has a link to their Facebook page too.
In conjunction with the Town Anniversary and our 50th reunion, the classes of 1969 and 2019 will be
presenting a class gift. A 72” granite bench with back and engraving will be presented and placed
at the town’s new Tricentennial Park in the center of town (old police station location). Therefore,
we and the Class of 2019 are in discussion for fundraising ideas.
Any classmates that wish to contribute to our class gift or donate to our class account, it would be
welcome! Checks are to be made out to Bellingham High Class of 1969 with a note in the memo line
as to whether the monies are for class gift or class account. Mail the check to: Suzanne Normandin,
4 Penny Lane, Wakefield, RI. 02879. Thank you very much!!!
Our formal invites for the reunion will be sent out in January, however, the pricing for the tickets has been set at $70.00 per person. This includes Friday night activities and our banquet on Saturday.
Hopefully, knowing costs ahead of time will allow more of our classmates to make a decision to
attend our reunion weekend!
