About Me	I live in Austin, TX & am married to a beautiful Japanese/Honduran woman, Michiko. My PhD is in Environmental Chemistry, & most recently I completed a post-doc certificate in business administration focused on project management. I've worked outside of academia in process development (catalysts), nuclear research (Oak Ridge National Laboratory), as a field engineer (oil industry offshore wireline tools and pharmaceutical industry mass spectrometry applications), and worked as a pool manager while coaching swimming & soccer, teaching high school math and science, and instructing as Space Camp. Traveling to Dubna, Russia for a 2-wk NATO conference was a great cultural experience, as was leading 4 service trips to Costa Rica and teaching in Tegucigalpa, Honduras at UNITEC for Laureate.
