She will be coming back to the states on 9/19/09 for 24 hours and then back to Kadena, Japan. In January she will then be in-transit to North Dakota for 2 years.

Ashley went to boot camp in San Antonio, Texas in August of 2006. She has been in Kadena,Japan since January 2007. On December 22, 2008 she received her 3rd stripe this making her Sr Airman Bruce. She will be coming home on March 2 for a few days of leave before she is headed for Baghdad, Iraq.

I am a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army. I joined the Army as a senior at BAHS. I left for Basic Training 1 month after I graduated. I have been in the Army ever since. I spent 5.5 years as Airborne Artillery at Fort Bragg, NC. I also spent a year in Iraq from '05-'06. I am a Recruiting Station Commander in Oregon.

Kimberly enlisted as an E-1 Airman-Apprentice in the U.S. Navy in 1992. She was selected to commission to the officer ranks as a Limited Duty Officer (Law) in 2002. She served 5+ years onboard USS JOHN F. KENNEDY (CV 67) and served boots-on-ground in Manama, Bahrain and Baghdad, Iraq after 9-11. Kimberly retired in San Diego, California, in 2014 after honorably serving 22 years on active duty.

Russell Loven is a United States Marine who went to BAH and graduated in 2003. He left for boot camp Oct 23 2006. Since then Lcpl Loven has been the duty expert in his field as an artillary mechanic, is up for promotion and is one of the main people in charge of getting the M777 howitzer combat ready.

Our Bellefonte High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done!
