About Me	Married, had 3 children, moved to Ann Arbor, MI for my husband's work. He was an Alumni ('57) also; His name was Monte Howard. He worked for North American Aviation in Downey, and we moved to Michigan in 1970 with Bendix Aerospace. IN 1972 he went to work for Chrysler Corp where he worked for a total of 27 years. We moved to the Upper Penensula of Michigan in 2002, and he passed away on May 22, 2005. In addition to our 3 cildren, my neice moved to live with us at age 15, after her Mother passed away. We had 6 biological grandchildren, 2 extended family grands.(grand neice and nephew I am G'ma to), 3 step grands and my younger son and his wife are in the process of adopting her 5 yr. old neice! I'm just a happy G'ma living here in Yooper-Land with my puppy dog,Chili Bean, my kitty cat Paddy Paws and my huge goldfish I call "Codfish". One of my many other "adopted grandkids" is living with me right now while he gets on his feet and is able to get his GED and into College. I have worked as a seamstress at a fabric store and a dry cleaners and was a babysitter for several years, otherwise, I have been fortunate enough not to HAVE to work so was always able to be home with my children. I am considering getting a Real Estate License to keep myself busy and out of trouble....my kids like that idea...a lot!
