About Me	Upon graduating from high school, I had the opportunity to volunteer 2 years with the California Conservation Corp. As a result, I was able to obtain employment with the Department of Interior in Yosemite National Park as a back-country trail maintenance worker. We lived literally, "Outdoors" 6 months of the year chasing off bears while building and maintaining the hiking trails along the pacific crest trail and in Yosemite Valley and the high country. I also spent a fullfilling single life serving my Lord Jesus overseas in Ghana and Uganda Africa on short term basis. With very little college education and a 4 year stint living in Yosemite, I had to work extremely hard to catch up with my peers in terms of learning computer technology so I could be employable. After 3 years of intense self-study while working with a large German corporation, I was able to secure a position as an applications instructor/Technical Writer. This afforded me many opportunities to travel in the U.S. and abroad. At 40 yrs. old, I married the kindest man I know. (I'm so glad I waited!) Since then, I have lived in Florida and now Vermont, which reminds me so much of what Northern California used to be like. Most recently, last fall to be exact, to our wonder and disbelief, we discovered I was 10 weeks pregnant for the first time in my life! We never tried since I was told at 20 years old that I shouldn't dream of having children because I had a severe case of endometriosis. Well, on my 46th birthday the baby miscarried.
